In a small town it is easy to spot an “out-of-towner” very quickly; today was no exception. Even without the semi-matching shirts the young men from Cincinnati were obviously out of their comfort zone in rural southern Ohio, says a reporter for Yahoo! News. I noticed the men standing on every street corner between here and the SuperValu grocery store–approaching local folks, clipboard in hand. The clean-cut guys barely gave shoppers or those walking on the sidewalk a chance to completely exit a door before there were cornered. I figured a survey of some sort, but I was wrong. Paid signature gatherers were sent here from Cincinnati by a lobbying group to gather the names of registered voters in opposition of Ohio House Bill 194.
