There’s no shortage of students at Yale University who want to start a business. And while these students often aren’t sure how to get their ideas off the ground, they needn’t look too far, the Huffington Post reports. The university’s Yale Entrepreneurial Institute, now in its sixth year, is designed to “help aspiring student entrepreneurs bring to fruition their innovative ideas for startup companies,” the university wrote in a background paper for the Global University Leaders Forum. The YEI offers services to all Yale students, along with a fellowship program where selected students can receive a stipend, mentorship and accounting advice, as well as access to potential investors. Yahoo News reports that YEI has helped students launch “close to 100 companies, 52 of which are currently active.” These student-founded companies have created at least 130 full time jobs, with one-third remaining in New Haven, the New Haven Register reported…
