HERKIMER, NY—Herkimer County Community College announces the creation of its Commit 2 Complete program, an initiative that encourages students to complete their associate degree in two years.
Students accepted into this program will receive a $1,000 award to apply to the cost of on-campus housing. They will also report to a special academic adviser, who will guide them in developing and pursuing a graduation success plan.
Commit 2 Complete students will have opportunities to participate in a variety of specialized activities and events to encourage a personal growth-mindset, assist in goal setting, and help deepen their self-awareness.
Commit 2 Complete, sponsored in part by the Herkimer County College Foundation, Inc., is open to fall-start, new and transfer full-time students who are enrolled in an associate degree program and intend to live on campus.
