Chestnut Hill College Names Troy A. Miller as Vice President of Enrollment Management

PHILADELPHIA – June 16, 2021 – Chestnut Hill College announced today that it has appointed Troy A. Miller as Vice President of Enrollment Management, effective July 6, 2021. With more than 20 years of experience at both public and private higher education intuitions, Miller brings a comprehensive approach to student recruitment and retention to increase and diversify application and enrollment growth.

“The focus of my career has been on providing educational accessibility for all, which aligns perfectly with Chestnut Hill College’s core value of personal and professional growth,” said Miller. “I am inspired by the College’s commitment and dedication to the student experience on and off campus and I look forward to working to expand and strengthen the Griffin community.”

As Vice President of Enrollment Management, Miller will serve as a senior member of the Administration and the President’s Cabinet and will collaborate with other senior administrators in strategic planning across the institution, while developing and expanding enrollment for the College’s three degree programs: undergraduate, graduate, and accelerated adult, which offers 13 bachelors and associate degrees with evening and weekend courses scheduled across eight weeks. He will work closely with the College’s Admissions, Global Education, and Student Success departments to encourage and facilitate collaboration across all campus programs.

He transitions to Chestnut Hill College from the University of Buffalo, where he has served as Associate Vice Provost and Director of Admissions since 2018. He has also held roles at Coppin State University and the New York Institute of Technology, where he worked within the admissions and financial aid departments.

“This wealth of experience and expertise is vital as we seek to grow our enrollment at a time when academic institutions are facing increased competition and continuing challenges in attracting and retaining active, engaged, and diverse students,” said Chestnut Hill College President Carol Jean Vale, SSJ, Ph.D. “We are fortunate to bring a professional with such dedication and professional experience to Chestnut Hill.”
