Universities can unlock growth in Britain

Technology investment company Imperial Innovations said the UK government should raise the profile of research at Britain’s leading universities to help boost the country’s anemic growth, Reuters reports. The company, which was founded to commercialize research at Imperial College London, invested 35.1 million pounds in companies in the last year, up from 14 million pounds.
