Video Insight is offering organizations in campus environments–school districts, universities, hospitals–the opportunity to try IP video surveillance software for an entire year at no cost.
The free Pilot Program includes the basic hardware and software needed to get started for those who have no system in place at all, are dissatisfied with an existing IP video surveillance provider, or have an older analog system in need of an upgrade to the video surveillance market standard of IP video. Unlike other pilot programs, Video Insight will include eight free software licenses as well as an eight-port video encoder and two IP cameras. With this equipment, campuses can be up and running with an IP video surveillance system in literally just minutes.
“Schools and multi-facility organizations are often hesitant to enter into the IP video surveillance market due to the perceived expense and an expectation that IP video is difficult to manage and operate,” said Video Insight Chief Executive Officer Rob Shaw. “Video Insight is offering this free Pilot Program, however, as a way to help ease them into the market at no cost and no risk.”
Although there is a contractual component to participate in the program, there is no charge and no obligation. Participants can simply return the cameras and encoder to Video Insight when the Pilot Program expires after one year, or they can purchase the equipment at a rate agreed upon at the outset of the program.
