InFocus IN3130a Network Projector Series Brings Low-Cost High-Brightness

Portable IN3134a, IN3136a and IN3138HDa Projectors are versatile with MHL mobile display and extensive optical zoom

InFocus Corporation (www.InFocus.com) is accommodating the trend of naturally lit spaces with its just-released ultra-bright IN3130a network projectors. With up to 4500 lumens, InFocus designed the IN3134a, IN3136a and IN3138HDa specifically for use in spaces with significant ambient light.

“Big office windows that allow a lot of natural light can be great for aesthetics and employee morale, but can inhibit collaboration and creativity when the team can’t see what’s being projected. So you either close the blinds, defeating the purpose of the windows, or you get an ultra-bright IN3130a projector,” said product marketing manager, Robert Detwiler. “Really bright, widescreen projectors for under $1000 are really rare, especially projectors you can manage over a network. The IN3130a models certainly won’t break your budget.”

The IN3136a has widescreen WXGA resolution with 4500 lumens, the IN3134a is standard XGA with 4200 lumens and the IN3138HDa is 1080p high definition with 4000 lumens. They’re each portable at less than 7 pounds and have 1.5x optical zoom and large throw ratios for installation flexibility and to provide the best image size when moved from room to room. There is an on-board 10-watt speaker, 12v screen trigger, controls on top of the device, and a full-function remote control included. The IT manager can connect the projectors to a local area network in order to manage and control them remotely, or quickly install them with AMX Discovery and Crestron Roomview control systems.

The projectors deliver bright 3D content from sources like Blu-ray, cable boxes, dish services, video games, PCs and NVIDIA 3DTV Play. IN3130a projectors use Texas Instruments DLP® Dark Chip 3 technology and also incorporate 3D Triple Flash technology, which gives a deeper, more immersive 3D experience.

In addition to dual HDMI ports – one with MHL support for HD display from mobile devices – the IN3130a series features two VGA inputs, S-Video and composite video inputs. The projectors are also compatible with the LiteShow 4 wireless presentation adapter for wireless HD content delivery from up to four devices simultaneously.

The InFocus IN3130a series projectors will be available for purchase through InFocus authorized resellers and at InFocusStore.com in the U.S.
