NEW YORK and CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – December 12, 2013—LASPAU: Academic and Professional Programs for the Americas, Inc. (laspau.harvard.edu),—a non-profit organization affiliated with Harvard University—recently selected Schoology as its learning management system for its academic and professional programs.

LASPAU is utilizing Schoology to deliver recorded lectures, provide robust communication and collaboration, and support differentiated instruction in its pedagogy programs for professors in Latin America and the Caribbean, which are designed to foster innovation and improve the quality of higher education.
Schoology is a learning platform used to manage courses and create curricula while breaking down barriers of distance and time with collaborative learning and resource sharing. Schoology is the primary tool used by educators and students in 40,000 universities, colleges and K-12 schools to communicate with each other while managing their notes, assignments and collaborative projects. “Schoology’s ability to bring professors and students together in conversation and learning fits nicely with our goal of strengthening higher education in Latin America and the Caribbean,” said LASPAU’s Deputy Director Angélica Natera. “This will support our efforts to reach out to academic institutions in the Americas in order to promote innovation and enhance learning and teaching.”
