Elliot Hirshman, a former administrator at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, has taken the reigns as president San Diego State University.
Lonza Hardy, Jr. will leave his job as athletic director at Hampton University this fall, reports The Kansas City Star. Since Hardy was appointed in 2007, the university has won 11 championships in various sports.
