FAIRFAX, Va. – January 22, 2013 – Ellucian is launching an awards program to recognize its customers who use the company’s solutions or services to make measureable improvements. The 2013 Ellucian Inspire Awards will be given to institutions that have improved operational efficiency, service to their constituents, or student success.
The deadline for nominations is February 20, 2013. Institutions can download the form at http://www.ellucian.com/inspireawards. The 2013 Ellucian Inspire Awards recognize projects that achieved measureable results during the past two years in any of three categories:
• Operational Excellence –administrative, infrastructure, or business process innovations or improvements.
• Constituent Service –innovations or improvements to the constituent experience (internal or external), including constituent engagement.
• Student Success –innovations or improvements that directly foster student success.
Nominations will be reviewed by a panel of experts from education organizations. The winning institution in each category will receive an Ellucian Inspire Award, $3,000, and will be recognized at Ellucian Live, the company’s annual user conference, in Philadelphia on April 7, 2013. Ellucian customers of all sizes and types and from all countries are eligible and encouraged to nominate.
“We created this new program to recognize our customers who work every day to solve challenges in higher education,” said Michelle Reed, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, Ellucian. “They inspire us, and we want to highlight their successes so that other institutions can be inspired as well.”
