The University of Dayton’s School of Business Administration has entered into a partnership with 2U, Inc. to offer MBA@Dayton, a new online Master of Business Administration program starting October 2017. University of Dayton faculty and executives-in-residence will teach courses through live online classes and seminars, accessed through a highly interactive and mobile “online campus.” The design offers the intimacy of an on-campus classroom with the online flexibility sought by today’s MBA students. The University of Missouri and Revature have announced Revature at Mizzou, a no-cost coding bootcamp for MU graduates of any major, that teaches front-end development languages and places students to work within top companies upon completion. The 12-week program, exclusively for MU graduates, provides the opportunity to learn the latest enterprise-level technology such as Java, and Microsoft.NET, at no cost. Upon completion, students are guaranteed employment with Revature, receive industry certification and continuing education, and are placed in leading companies in the Kansas City and St. Louis areas. Splunk Inc. announced that the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is boosting student achievement and experience through learning analytics on the Splunk platform. Splunk is also helping the UNLV IT team prepare to host the final U.S. Presidential election debate on Wednesday, October 19th. Splunk will help ensure UNLV’s web properties and network infrastructure stay online during an expected spike in traffic during the debate, while also helping to proactively monitor and analyze the debate’s associated web and social media data.
