Teachers in El Paso County, Texas, say they might begin tape-recording students in their classrooms as a means of self-protection, reports the El Paso Times. The idea arose after an El Dorado High School teenager secretly recorded an algebra teacher who went on a profanity-laced rant in the classroom. The exasperated teacher, who was recorded on a cell phone in late February, told students that they were "constantly whining."
