College Choice published its latest rankings for the best business schools in the world, and results reveal that as the economy becomes a more global affair, business professionals are looking towards getting a graduate degree that specializes them in international business. Elon University will debut the SA360 platform from Evolution Labs this coming academic year. Phoenix360, Elon University’s customized name for SA360, gives student-athletes access to a mobile app and web-based content on topics ranging from mental health to NCAA compliance to diet and nutrition to academic skills. The tools and content in the program will help coaches and staff better support players throughout the athletic season and academic year. Read more.

Stanford University has identified and selected Evisions’ Cayuse 424 for the electronic submission process of federal proposals through Grants.gov. Cayuse 424 provides a real-time validation engine with an error free rate of 99 percent for first-time submissions. The product’s highly secure environment and world class customer support is critical for submitting large volumes of proposals when millions of dollars in research revenue are on the line. The University of Maryland (UMD) and the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL), the central laboratory that provides world-class research for the Army, have formed a strategic partnership to provide high-performance computing (HPC) resources for use in higher education and research communities. Students, professors, engineers and researchers will have unprecedented access to technologies that enable scientific discovery and innovation. Hampshire College has begun installing 15,000 solar panels on approximately 19 acres of its 840-acre campus, toward producing 100 percent of campus electricity from on-site renewable energy on an annualized basis. By its research, Hampshire is the first US residential college to go 100 percent solar. Hampshire’s two solar-power systems together will have a generation capacity of 4.7 DC/3.5 AC megawatts, enough to power about 500 American homes. Read more.
