Three Rivers Systems taps former Savvis veteran George Hack as company’s new director of software development

St. Louis — September 25, 2013 — Three Rivers Systems Inc. has named George Hack director of software development. With more than 20 years’ experience at Savvis, a CenturyLink Co., and other market leaders like AT&T and Edward Jones Investments, Hack is known as an adept, results-driven team leader for firms in advanced technology.

He joined Savvis, now a $1.3 billion company, in 2004 as a senior software engineer, progressively advancing to a worldwide post as director of global software development. He led large teams and in only six months established a development office in Bangalore, India.

Reporting to Three Rivers Systems President and Founder Amir Tajkarimi, Hack heads the company’s software development from concept to deliverable products.

“Bringing on a software development leader of George’s stature underscores our commitment to an aggressive growth strategy while demonstrating our ability to attract top-caliber executive talent. We are extremely optimistic about the future of the academic ERP market,” Tajkarimi said

Tajkarimi sees Three Rivers Systems headed for greater market share because its solutions are built from the ground up with the latest Microsoft technology and are designed for the modern world.

“We are revolutionizing academic management in higher education with advanced business analysis, mobility, easier implementation and use as well as the highest return on investment,” he said.

“This is an exciting time for me, and I am delighted to be an integral part of Three Rivers Systems’ impressive growth as the leading technology innovator in higher education,” Hack said.

Hack recently earned an executive MBA degree from the Olin Business School at Washington University, where he also holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance.
