Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Chooses Infolinx Web™ for Tracking Boxes

Today, Infolinx System Solutions™, a leading provider of enterprise physical records management software, announced the implementation of Infolinx WEB™ at Rutgers, a leading national research university and New Jersey’s preeminent, comprehensive public institution of higher education. Founded in 1766, it is the sole university in the United States that is a colonial college, a land-grant institution, and a public university. Rutgers has four major campuses, 33 schools and colleges with more than 100 undergraduate majors, more than 200 graduate programs and degrees and over 300 research centers and institutes.

Reflective of their technology savvy, the implementation of Infolinx WEB will provide the university’s records management office with state-of-the-art tracking of 100,000 boxes, as well as other files and media, in their new on-campus storage warehouse. The solution includes advanced retention capabilities with integrated legal holds and citations.

In addition to their in-house holdings, the browser-based application is seamlessly integrated with off-site storage purveyors of the O’Neil Software oneilBridge™ cloud connector solution.

In addition to the installation of the industry leading records management solution, the Infolinx professional business services team relocated thousands of boxed records from various departments on campus to shelf locations within their new warehouse. Barcoded labels were designed and applied to the boxes and shelves, facilitating a final inventory reconciliation, also provided by Infolinx. “We’re excited to provide the records management staff at Rutgers with a records management tool commensurate with their knowledge and abilities” said Tim Butler, Managing Director at Infolinx.
