Maryland’s Salisbury University has created a 10,000-port wired network and a wireless network with 700 access points to provide full coverage campus wide. The university has implemented software from PeopleSoft and Blackboard to streamline business processes and extend learning beyond the classroom. Mostly importantly, it has managed and promoted a culture of change in the classroom and the workplace.

New educational app lets users annotate files [3]

A Maryland high school math teacher has launched an educational app for the iPad that allows students to add their own notes and markups to instructors’ Word, PDF, and PowerPoint files without the need to convert those files to another format.
