For the seventh straight year, Tools4ever will exhibit its identity and access management solutions at CETPA.
SEATTLE, Wash., Sept. 11, 2012 – Tools4ever, the market leader in identity and access management solutions, today announced it will again participate in the California Educational Technology Professionals Association (CETPA) 2012 Annual Conference in Monterey, California, from October 16 through 19, 2012.
Tools4ever employees will be available, at booth #201, to discuss the benefits and features of the company’s products, like single sign on and user management resource administrator, as well as to answer educator’s questions about how automating manual processes, such password resets, can save educational institutions money and employee resources.
CETPA is ideal for anyone interested in educational technology. Attendees include technologists, educators and administrators at all levels of K-20 organizations, including technicians, teachers, engineers, analysts, technology directors, curriculum leaders and superintendents. CETPA is also attended by many of education vendors including software, hardware and professional services providers.
Tools4ever also is scheduled to participate in the presentation series, “Wiz! Bang! Shizam! Automate Redundant and Bothersome IT Tasks,” in which its customer, Pajaro Valley School District, will discuss the benefits of Tools4ever’s User Management Resource Administrator (UMRA) and Self Service Password Reset Manager (SSRPM).
Pajaro Valley SD recently needed a solution to reduce the overwhelming amount of time it spent handling user account management tasks and resetting user passwords. Tools4ever’sUMRA allowed district leaders to automate the account management process, as well as securely delegate the task to non-technical staff members. The district also implemented Tools4ever’s SSRPM to allow end users to reset their own passwords, drastically reducing password-related calls to the helpdesk.
The “Wiz! Bang! Shizam! Automate Redundant and Bothersome IT Tasks” presentation featuring Pajaro Valley School District is scheduled for October 16, 2012, from 3:30 to 4:20 p.m.
This marks the seventh consecutive year Tools4ever has attended the CETPA Conference because of its strong presence to education, and its commitment to advancing education technology.
“Tools4ever has a strong presence in the educational industry with implementations at more than 680 schools throughout the United States,” said Tom Mowatt, Managing Director of Tools4ever, Seattle. “Managing user accounts in schools can be extremely complicated and time consuming since accounts must be quickly created at the beginning of the academic year, but also may change during the course of the academic year. Our solutions eliminate the headache of account management, so that the IT staff can focus on other technology that can benefit students and teachers.”
