Colleges increase support for students fighting addictions


Most college communities are oozing with opportunities to drink heavily and get high at any time of any day, reports the Washington Post. That can be a dangerous environment for a recovering addict afraid of relapse. Not only are more college students forming addictions while undergraduates, more freshmen are showing up already in treatment for alcoholism or drug addiction, according to an article in Wednesday’s Wall Street Journal.
