McDaniel College in Maryland has partnered with 11 community colleges to offer Educator’s Legacy Scholarships. Now eligible to receive up to $100,000 to attend McDaniel College are children of employees at Anne Arundel Community College, Carroll Community College, Cecil Community College, Chesapeake College, Community College of Baltimore County, Frederick Community College, Garrett College, Hagerstown Community College, Howard Community College and Prince George’s Community College in Maryland, as well as HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College. Although conversion rates were flat across all program types between Q2 2016 and Q3 2016, the conversion rate for online programs spiked in Q3 2016 to 8.8 percent according to the Sparkroom Q3 2016 Higher Education Inquiry Generation Review. This conversion rate is the highest for online programs since before 2014, and the cohort is not yet fully mature. Read more.

The timely archive includes records from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and focuses on civil rights, race, gender, and issues relating to the U.S. Supreme Court. Authentica Solutions, a data integration and data management provider, has signed an agreement with IlliniCloud – a nonprofit tech cooperative of school districts across the country. Authentica Solutions will be providing their data integration tool, DataSense IPaaS, to IlliniCloud members. DataSense is an IPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) solution, providing one central administrative web UI for building, deploying, managing and monitoring all of the data integration processes across multiple applications. IonTuition.com, an education-fintech company specializing in helping borrowers monitor, manage, and repay their student loans, announced the results of a new survey that shows employees want student loan repayment benefits as they struggle to make their monthly payments. Average student loan debt now exceeds $37,000 per graduate entering the workforce. IonTuition surveyed 2,712 adults who are currently employed and have experience with student loan borrowing and repayment in order to examine how employers could best offer assistance and guidance throughout the student loan repayment process.
