Collaboration brings cloud solutions to higher education

A flexible path to the cloud designed specifically to help colleges and universities achieve student success

cloud-ellucianAs colleges and universities continue to transform to meet changing student expectations, senior institutional leaders want to help students access advanced, easy-to-use solutions anytime, anywhere.

They also need better and more timely access to institutional and student data through solutions that inform decision-making, amidst a call for increased accountability.

To that end, Ellucian, provider of higher education software and services, announced that the company has further strengthened its relationship with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including offering many of Ellucian’s higher education solutions as cloud-enabled.

Moving forward, Ellucian will leverage the AWS Cloud to power many of its cloud offerings, from ERP to Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) for higher education, for the more than 2,400 colleges and universities it serves around the world.

“Cloud technology is essential to delivering an exciting new modern student experience for our institutions to deliver on student success,” said Jeff Ray, president and CEO at Ellucian. “We are investing heavily in our strategic collaboration with AWS, a leading cloud infrastructure provider, to deliver a superior user experience for faculty, staff, and more than 18 million students within Ellucian’s growing higher education community.”

Ellucian’s work with AWS supports the company’s cloud strategy, offering colleges and universities a secure move to the cloud, at their pace. Currently, a number of Ellucian solutions are cloud-ready, including Ellucian RecruiterTM, Ellucian Mobile, Ellucian Pilot, Ellucian ElevateTM, and Ellucian eTranscripts.
