Here’s a rundown of the 10 best accredited online colleges, as ranked by accreditedonlinecolleges.org.

1) University of Missouri–St. Louis: “The University of Missouri-St. Louis offers an Online in Nine program that permits you to complete a full course in nine weeks.

Though some courses are combined with face-to-face meetings, online undergraduate degrees are available in Business Administration (BSBA), Communication (BA), Criminology & Criminal Justice (BS), Liberal Studies (BLS) and Nursing (BSN). There are nine online gradate programs focusing on nursing, elementary education and nursing.”

2) Texas A&M University–Kingsville: “Texas A&M University-Kingsville is known for their liberal arts and career education programs. Their online engineering and education degrees are earning national recognition as two of the top online graduate programs. U.S. News and World Report ranks their industrial engineering graduate degree program 21st in the nation.

Texas A&M University-Kingsville is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. Their online educational program meets the federal standard of 100 percent online.”

3) Robert Morris University: “Robert Morris University provides a flexible eight week term internet delivery model to help you accelerate your degree completion. Courses are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Online programs are based on the same programs used on campus and include discussion questions and chats. RMU was ranked #10 on the 25 Best Online Colleges and Universities of 2012.

SuperScholar is an online education and career information website. SuperScholar ranked RMU 10th in their Smart Choice Schools for Online Master’s Degrees 2013. Bachelor degree offerings include courses in the areas of hospitality and tourism, psychology, cyber forensics and information security, health services or organizational leadership. Master’s degrees are available in organizational leadership, engineering management, and nursing education.”

4) Stetson University: “Stetson University’s online bachelor programs are ranked among the best in the nation for student services and technology according to a 2012 study by U.S. News & World Report. Online courses are taught using Blackboard by the same professors teaching their first-rate campus courses. AIB’s online classes start and finish on the same dates as on-campus classes.

There is a Helpdesk available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide technical support. The online Master of Accountancy (M.Acc.) program is designed to prepare students for the CPA examination.”

5) AIB College of Business: “AIB College of Business has an online education readiness evaluation to determine if online learning is for you. Their online bachelor’s degree program is ranked among the best in the nation for student services and technology according to a 2012 study by U.S. News & World Report. Online classes start and finish on the same dates as on-campus classes.

Their courses are developed and taught by their experienced faculty using Blackboard. Technical support is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week through their Helpdesk.”

6) Bellevue University: “Bellevue University was ranked #1 by U.S. News and World 2012 for student engagement. They credit professors with real-world experience for their award-winning interactive online classroom. There are over 30 bachelor degree programs and 15 master’s degree programs.”

7) Park University: “Park University was founded in 1875. Their long commitment to academic excellence is evident through their online courses that are certified by Quality Matters. Their eight-week terms offer flexibility and start in January, March, June, August and October. Certificate programs are available in military history and terrorism and homeland security.

You can also choose from online Associate of Science degrees, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Public Administration, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Science Nursing programs. Park University is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.”

8) Arizona State University: “Arizona State University offers students a myriad of online choices with the added convenience of six different start dates. There are 32 online bachelor programs, over 30 masters and a Doctor of Behavioral Health.

ASU meets quality standards for educational and financial performance and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges.”

9) University of Nebraska: “University of Nebraska his a well-respected fully accredited university known as a leader in online education. Bachelor of General Studies degree programs are available in Nonprofit Administration, General Administration, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Geography, Criminology & Criminal Justice, Political Science and Sociology.”

10) Fuller Theological Seminary: “Fuller Theological Seminary offers online programs and individualized distant learning courses that are combined with on-campus classes. The focus of online courses is theology and intercultural studies. The interactive online Moodle platform follows the same 11-week schedule as online classes.”
