Many college officials have taken to Twitter in recent years.

Decision makers at every level of higher education are active on Twitter, with chief information officers tweeting about technology solutions to pressing problems, IT officials interacting with students and faculty about educational technology, and, of course, college and university presidents commenting on some of the most relevant higher education issues of the day.

A cavalcade of campus presidents are on Twitter, though not nearly every one is active on the social network, tweeting, re-tweeting, and interacting with the greater university community.
