Ambassador Education Solutions to Unveil Compelling Bookstore Operation Strategies at HLC Conference

Interactive Session Will Explore Student Centered Approach to Bookstore Management

Melville, NY – April 1, 2013 – Ambassador Education Solutions, experts in powering course materials management and delivery for higher education institutions, is leading an interactive session at the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) 2013 Annual Conference where it will inspire institutions to take a student centered approach to bookstore management. College and university operations and finance leaders will learn what it takes to implement and manage a bookstore that drives student satisfaction, school control and profitability.

Ambassador will apply the lessons learned from the education industry and proprietary schools to present a targeted approach to bookstore operations that more effectively meets the needs of students, as well as the financial goals of the institution. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the role of partnerships in enhancing booklist management, addressing publisher relations, and improving the student experience.

“Our goal is to help institutions embrace a student centered bookstore approach that facilitates profitability, sustainability and student satisfaction,” said Stuart Grinell, Senior Vice President of Business Development at Ambassador. “By providing practical guidance from an operational standpoint, attendees can gain a better understanding of the roles, processes, technology and integrations that play a critical role in a successful bookstore operation.”

“Partnering in the Process: How to Implement, Manage, and Profit from a Student Centered Bookstore Operation” will be led by Bruce Schneider, Ambassador’s Director of Business Engineering. The session takes place on April 7th at 11:45 a.m. in Crystal A, Green Level, West Tower (session number G-SUN-1145-p). Attendees can also engage with Ambassador’s team in booth #108 to explore ways to simplify course materials management through its Brick and Mortar Bookstore, Online Bookstore and Auto-Fill solutions.

HLC takes place April 5th-9th at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. HLC is an independent corporation and one of two commission members of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA), which is one of six regional institutional accreditors in the U.S.
