Local Company Hosts National Clients in Charleston, SC

Columbia, SC — Softdocs, a privately-held software developer based in Columbia, SC that specializes in paperless solutions for the educational and municipal marketplaces, is hosting its user group conference, Bridge 2012, in Charleston, SC September 16 – 19 at the Francis Marion Hotel.

The conference aims to foster growth and support in the community of Softdocs users where they’ll connect with other users and gain insight from experts while enjoying the beauty and charm of historic Charleston.

“The conference theme is ‘Visiting the Past, Sharing for the Future’ and we think it ties in nicely with the location of the event,” said Softdocs VP Andrew Daniel. “While we intend to provide an opportunity for our customers to share previous experiences and current successes, our true goal is to foster an idea of foresight and the mindset of looking towards the future.”

Part of this future-thinking involves Softdocs introducing all that its users can anticipate in the coming year, as well as what institutions will be able do with the knowledge, insight, and understanding gained from the conference to take back to their respective institutions.

“Our customers use our software to solve so many different document management and business process needs,” said Mike Murphy, CEO & President of Softdocs. “We are excited about them connecting with each other at the Softdocs user conference to share these proven solutions.”

Among those registered are local customers, along with attendees from around the country—many of which have never been to the historic city.

The Keynote Speaker, Preston Swincher from The Center for Generational Kinetics, will address cross-generational communication, innovation, engagement, teamwork, and performance, all of which Softdocs hopes the conference will reinforce throughout their customer base. Swincher is an accomplished speaker who has headlined numerous events for audiences across the U.S.

“Attendees can expect four days of learning, networking and fun. We have almost 40 sessions and roundtable discussions to choose from and several networking opportunities, including our Dine Around and Harbor Cruise Social,” said Softdocs Marketing Director, Lauren Landers.

The conference begins Sunday evening, September 16th with an Opening Reception at the Francis Marion Hotel followed by a Dine Around to a few of Charleston’s best restaurants.
