Kendall College Announces New Online Options for Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Classes offered online and on campus to meet needs of working adults and nontraditional students

CHICAGO (July 19, 2012) – This fall, the Kendall College School of Business will offer its bachelor’s degree courses online, in addition to traditional weekday classes at its Chicago campus. By expanding its online offerings, Kendall is making it easier for working adults and other nontraditional students to complete their degrees. Each quarter, School of Business students can choose to take classes online, on campus, or a combination of both.
Kendall College is increasing the number of School of Business courses offered online to meet the increasing demand for online education. The 2011 Survey of Online Learning reveals that the number of students taking at least one online course has now surpassed 6 million. Now nearly one-third of all students in higher education are taking at least one online course.

“Online education options are essential for students who wish to further their education but may not have the time to commit to an exclusively on-campus degree program,” said Michelle Coussens, dean of the Kendall College School of Business. “It is with great pleasure that we are now able to offer students ‘your program, your way.’ The tools we use to deliver our online courses and related projects, exercises and presentations will provide students with an edge in using these same communication tools in the workplace. ”

Kendall’s Bachelor of Arts in Business program offers concentrations in Foodservice Management, Small Business Management, Management and Psychology. Through situation-based challenges, living case studies, management simulations and integrative projects, the program emphasizes the critical skills and professional edge needed to excel in today’s unpredictable global workforce. Students online and on campus will benefit from the unique personal touch and service that is the cornerstone of a Kendall education.
