Group opposes suggested higher ed reforms


A group of more than 200 powerful philanthropists, business leaders and other stakeholders have formed a coalition to push back against dramatic changes sought for Texas colleges and universities by Gov. Rick Perry and a group of university regents, reports the Houston Chronicle.
