Research In Motion Ltd. (RIM) said its technicians are working to resolve eMail delays on its Blackberry smart phones in North and South America, reports the Associated Press. Phone calling and texting services appeared to be functional, but users in the Americas have been unable to send or receive eMail messages. Would-be users tweeted their frustration on the social-networking site Twitter, and some said they also could not connect to the internet. Waterloo, Ontario-based RIM apologized in a statement. The problem marks the second time in less than a week that BlackBerry users in North America have had to deal with eMail outages on their Blackberry devices.
