Netop Helps Schools Weather Tough Times With Grant Program for Classroom Management Software

CHICAGO – Dec. 1, 2009 – Netop, the world’s largest provider of classroom management software, launched the Netop Get A Grant for Education (NGAGE) program to help educators struggling with shrinking budgets. Available through Dec. 31, 2009, this easy-to-apply-for funding program furthers the company’s commitment to ensuring that all schools and teachers have access to tools for teaching with technology.

Through NGAGE, Netop provides financial support for schools to purchase an individual or site license for the Netop Vision6 Class Kit, the most popular classroom management software, proven to improve student achievement. Vision6 gives teachers complete control over classroom computers from an easy-to-use console that shows each student computer screen. Educators use Vision6 to monitor student progress, control Web browsing and guide student learning on computers.

“Even with the federal stimulus funding, educators at schools around the United States are telling us that times are tight and they are strapped to purchase the technology tools they need to improve student learning,” said Kurt Bager, CEO, Netop. “We developed the NGAGE program to allow schools a way to quickly and easily apply for help to weather the funding storm and still ensure their teachers have access to high-quality tools for teaching with technology.”

The Vision6 Class Kit is priced at $999, but with an NGAGE grant of $450, an educator would pay only $549 per lab. Schools can also receive grants of $1,600 for a site license, making Netop Vision6 more affordable than ever before.

The NGAGE Grant Program applies to select purchases of Netop Vision6 made through Netop or an approved Netop reseller. For more information, call 866-725-7833 or visit
