High school students can become better prepared for college through a free online course being administered by Marshall University, reports the Associated Press. Marshall’s Technology Outreach Center is offering the non-credit course, called "How to Succeed in College," at any time throughout the school year to students, counselors, and teachers. Among the topics covered in the course are choosing a major, financial aid and scholarships, critical thinking, copyright laws, study and test-taking skills, time management, internet tools, and stress management. To register for the course, students can go to www.marshall.edu/occhs/success.
