SAN ANTONIO (July 27, 2009) – PCI Education, the number one provider of resources for students with special needs, announces the appointment of Randy Pennington as Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing. In this newly created role, Pennington will oversee sales and marketing for the company and report to Lee Wilson, President and CEO.

Pennington is a highly respected industry veteran with a long track record of success. Most recently, he served as Vice President & National Sales Manager at Scholastic’s Classroom and Library Division. Prior to joining Scholastic, Pennington held similar positions with Harcourt Achieve, Pearson Learning Group, Compass Learning, and Computer Curriculum Corporation. He also has a strong marketing background, with experience as Director of K-12 Marketing at Apple Computer, and as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Chancery Software and EdPoint.

Pennington earned a master’s degree in educational administration from Georgia State University, and a bachelor’s degree in science education and physics from Valdosta State University.
