The Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) announced the 100 STEM faculty leaders from 76 institutions of higher education who have been selected to participate in the 2015 PKAL Summer Leadership Institutes [2].

This marks the seventeenth year that PKAL has sponsored summer institutes. The institutes will be held July 14-19 and July 21-26 at The Claggett Center in Adamstown, Maryland, and July 25-30 at The Baca Campus of Colorado College in Crestone, Colorado.

PKAL’s five-day intensive institutes are designed for early- or mid-career STEM faculty engaged in projects designed to transform undergraduate STEM education including changes at the classroom, departmental, and institutional levels.

At the institutes, STEM faculty are exposed to the theory and practice required to act as agents of change in their home institutions or professional societies.
