EDUCAUSE announces annual conference keynote speakers

EDUCAUSE has opened its registration for this year’s EDUCAUSE Annual Conference to be held October 27–30, 2015, in Indianapolis, Indiana and online. The EDUCAUSE Annual Conference, the largest conference focused on technology in higher education, explores the essential IT issues facing higher education and convenes some of the brightest minds in the community from across the United States and around the world.

The keynote speakers for the general sessions include:

  • Andrew McAfee, Co-Founder MIT Initiative of the Digital Economy, MIT Sloan School of Management and Author
  • Daniel Pink, Author and Host/Co-Exec Producer of National Geographic’s Crowd Control
  • Emily Pilloton, Founder and Executive Director, Project H Design and Director of Creativity, REALM Charter School

The EDUCAUSE Annual Conference is structured around key topics in higher education IT with nearly 300 sessions covering topics such as trends and innovation in higher education, digital business, diversity in the profession, and advancing the academic mission. EDUCAUSE will also offer special conference tracks, including individual program elements designed specifically for Chief Information Officer (CIO) participants.

2014 marked a record year for attendance at the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference with over 7,000 individuals attending on-site in Orlando, and nearly 2,000 online.
