The NYC Data Science Academy announced a new online education program called Remote Data Science Bootcamp. The full or part-time program offers a complete and comprehensive data science curriculum, interaction with peers and faculty, and job placement assistance for students anywhere in the world with an internet connection who wants to become a data scientist. Destiny Solutions has launched Destiny One Dashboards, powered by Tableau. Colleges and universities using the Destiny One software application to manage their students and programs now have access to many engaging and powerful data visualizations that will allow them to see trends and operate their school’s business with data-driven intelligence. The technology behind self-driving cars is coming to life soon at Florida Polytechnic University. A brand new course called “Autonomous Systems and Self-Driving Vehicles” starts in the Spring 2017 semester. The course breaks students into groups of five to upgrade a small race car.
