Washington & Jefferson College and Evolution Labs introduce S360™ engagement platform to enhance the service students and parents experience following admission and up to matriculation

Washington & Jefferson College (W&J) has launched the Evolution Labs S360 platform to better engage students and parents from the point of admission until the beginning of their first year of college. All students selected for admission — as well as their parents — are invited to join the program.

“The College attracts an extraordinarily talented and diverse group of applicants, which makes for a dynamic pool of admitted students each year,” said Robert J. Gould, Vice President for Enrollment at W&J. “S360 helps us better engage students by connecting them to the services of the College as well as other admitted students, alumni, trustees, current student parents and enrolled students. S360 is unique in that it promises to help us usher students and their parents from the point of admission to their first week on campus, while providing staff with a set of data points about possible areas of interest and questions that are addressed in real-time.”

S360 enables colleges and universities to immerse admitted students in engaging web and mobile-based experiences designed to foster a meaningful affinity between student and school, and to impact deposits, summer melt and, ultimately, student success. The platform provides admits with highly individualized content tailored to the criteria and interests they find most relevant to their own college journey – whether they’re interested in exploring a major, athletics, career outcomes, or discovering what it’s like to live in a residence hall. As admits learn more about W&J through expert-written topics, engaging videos and surveys, they can also interact with other admitted students, view “real-life” social media feeds from W&J staff and students, and share their interest in W&J by connecting program features with their preferred social networks – all on a single platform.

W&J has personalized the S360™platform and renamed it Presidents360. This nomenclature references the collective name of W&J’s students and alumni, the Presidents. W&J “Presidents” are known for their demonstrated integrity, global citizenship and commitment to service.
